Good morning loves! Blessed Monday!
We just went through our first official week of January and I must say I feel great! Yes it's only the first week, but remember I said that this year if we wanted to anew, we had to change some things? The only way to shed old skin, is to grow through metamorphosis I'm not gonna lie, that took me back to science in 4th grade 😅 Whew! In this new year, I want you to get rid of these three things:
PROCRASTINATION
LIMITING BELIEFS
FEELING OF UNWORTHINESS
Tell the truth, how far has procrastination ever gotten you? I can count on one hand how many times I've put something off, and it actually gets done within a timely manner. And even if it does, chances are, I'm stressed by the time I get around to doing it. What good is it to you if you are constantly delaying something? Before you know it, it'll be December 31st and you will have regretted not starting sooner.
A lot of the time, the reasoning for us not starting sooner ie. finishing the assignment, applying to the job posting, updating our resume, starting the podcast, eating healthier, etc., is because of fear. Tell me if I'm wrong. There're a bunch of lies I like to call 'limiting beliefs' that we allow to hinder our progress. Remember, I allowed my limiting beliefs to prevent me from officially publishing my blog TWO times! I was too scared to share with others because of what they would think, I had a career and wasn't sure if I'd be judge for wanting to be different, and I was unsure of myself and my ability to sustain it.
Forget what other people thought, I wasn't confident in myself. If you won't take a chance on yourself, why do you expect other people to? Your goals and dreams are dependent upon you. You have to make sure that you're not self-sabotaging because of disbelief in yourself. I bet you didn't know I had an online store that I was too afraid to tell anyone about because I wasn't confident enough to "sell". It wasn't that no one would buy. The problem was me!
Excuses are birthed from the depths of ourselves which we refuse to acknowledge. We are not making excuses this year. If you have life and are well and able, it's time to take a stand and MOVE. Jesus never made excuses about dying on the cross for us imagine how much more ghetto the world would've been if that were the case. He took the nails in his hands and feet like a champ well I'm sure not like a champ but you get the point. What mattered, is that he was obedient.
Think about how much more farther you would be if you cut excusitis out of your life. If you want to advance, and ensure that God grants you those blessings, do me a kind favor. Lay those excuses down by the wayside, put on the full armor of God and let's get to work!

Letting Go of old things, doubt, procrastination & fear & walking into my destiny.
Oh BTW, what store?? 😯😯
