Please don't delete me if you sung the title to that infamous tune 🌚.
So I'm guessing by now you realized that I'm right. About what, you ask? Well, I did say that growth is impossible without being uncomfortable, I also told you that 'excusitis' was trashing God's plan for you life, and that you will be the same unless you act 💅🏾
Now that you've decided to clean up your act and stop fooling around, you're ready to step out of the warm and fuzzy. But now you're stuck because you don't know how to. And every time you lift that foot up to step forward, the devil brings it right back down. One reason why, is because you allow him. All the negative chatter in your mind that occurs right before you're ready to take that step of faith, is nothing but the devil, and we all know he's a liar.
Your unwavering faith is what causes you to be held back. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing you. I had to give myself this pep talk a couple of times. I was too caught up in what I was not, that I never entertained what I could be. I'm sure I've told you before that I want to one day host a OYA retreat. To tell you the truth, I don't like being in crowds and I hate public speaking. Now, for the vision I have and the things I hate, there seems to be one big contradiction.
But, I have faith in God's plan for my life. It doesn't always make sense. Sometimes I sit and wonder why I have the visions, and the tugging at my heart that I do. I don't take them lightly, because I know that there's a reason why. Jesus had faith that he would be the Messiah, even as He was about to be crucified. Sure he questioned God, but He never surrendered. He had faith that God would deliver Him.
Greatness requires you to expect resistance.

God gotchu, no doubt, but it doesn't mean that you won't be tested. It does not mean that you won't be tried, nor have tribulations. Faith requires us to put our trust in God, without a time stamp on when He will deliver His promise. Act on faith, not fear.
