HAPPY TUESDAY LOVE! ⛅️
During the past week, I have been hearing the word alignment ring heavily in my ear. I wanted to develop this post since Sunday, September 6th but it didn't feel complete. For whatever reason, I kept seeing the post, but the content would not come to me. I had wanted to approach it solely from the idea of networking but chile, God is funny. If it's one thing I've learned during this season, is being in alignment. I would always listen to sermons by Sarah Jakes Roberts, and Dr. Dharius Daniels, and it wasn't until I was still, that I understood what it really meant. It goes hand in hand with obedience.
I was sitting in the doctor's office and started reflecting; immediately I pulled up my notes and started writing. I started thinking about the night before and realized that God is using me in ways that I’m not even aware of. I’d spent the weekend with my mom and she’d asked me what kind of feedback I'd been getting from others with respect to the blog. I'd expressed that so far, the responses have been positive and the testimonials have been a blessing to me. What's crazy is, I received another testimonial the same night.
A long-time friend of mine called me to share her story with me; she'd warmed my heart when she expressed that she'd started working on the workbook. Even though the news was the furthest thing from what I wanted to hear, I felt at peace knowing that I could be a listening ear and that the blog was a blessing to her when she needed it most. The entire time we spoke, I had chills because I felt like the spirit was speaking through her to me. It was another confirmation I received that I didn't know I needed.
I'm positive I mentioned this before, but what you are sitting on, may be the exact thing that will offer support to someone else. You never know what you may share that will help another get out of their dark space. Sometimes, it's not the same story, you may not even be able to relate one hundred percent, but one action can spark positive change in their lives. It's unfortunate, but many people appear to be content, when really they are fighting for their lives whether physically or mentally. You never know what someone else is going through. Don't assume that their life is the way it seems. Many are fighting silent battles.
I spent years trying to find my purpose. Now that I'm reflecting, I understand that I may not have been ready for what was going to be presented to me, or even ready to manifest the visions that I'd had. Being in alignment for me means not only being able to relate and be support for others, but being able to assemble with those with the same vision as me. I've met both phsyically and virtually some wonderful souls who I know are placed on my path for a reason. I don't know where the future will lead, but I trust that God will design it in an intricate way.
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans."
Proverbs 16:3 NIV
More than anything, this is an appreciation post. As much as I am at peace knowing that what I am offering is of use to someone else, I am appreciative for the support that I've received. For me, is it about confirmation, not recognition. I pray that this blesses you, and it's my aim for you to trust the process God has for your life, and have faith.
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
Hebrews 11:1 NIV
He will align your steps, and before you know it, you will be right where you need to be.
